About The Role

Are you an organised and detail-focused administrator looking to grow your career within a supportive and friendly team? Whether you already have some payroll experience or are looking to develop new skills within this field, this is a great opportunity to join a fast-paced environment where your work truly matters. You'll be supported by our Senior Payroll Analyst and wider team and have the chance to expand your knowledge step-by-step.

What you'll be doing

In this role, you'll help ensure the smooth and accurate processing of our monthly payrolls. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Responding to payroll queries and providing clear, friendly information to employees.
  • Preparing and issuing earnings statements.
  • Processing starters, leavers and changes to employee pay.
  • Supporting the monthly payroll cycle, including data checks and reporting.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date payroll spreadsheets and documentation.
  • Monitoring payroll inboxes and assisting with administrative tasks across the team.
  • Working closely with Senior Payroll and Payroll Analysts across four payrolls covering more than 6,000 employees.

You'll play an important part in delivering a high-quality service that supports colleagues across the organisation.

What we'll look for in you

We're looking for someone who is accurate, organised and truly enjoys being part of a collaborative team. You will bring:

  • Strong administration experience — previous payroll experience is helpful but not essential, as full training will be provided.
  • Good working knowledge of Excel and Word.
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong numeracy skills.
  • Clear and confident communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • The ability to build good working relationships and handle confidential information professionally.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.

What you can expect in return:

  • A salary of £26,000
  • Work 37.5 hours a week.
  • An extensive range of wellbeing and lifestyle benefits
  • 25 days holiday per annum plus bank holidays
  • Mandatory training through our excellent in-house education programme
