We are delighted to be offering two part time posts, to join our large team of receptionists at Attleborough Surgeries. We are looking for individuals who will thrive on providing great customer care, are positive in their attitude towards working with other team members and the public and are keen to contribute to a thriving practice that is expanding its services as a result of local housing development. Both posts are for approximately 22-26 hours per week. Successful candidates will need to be available to work across our core opening hours, which are predominantly Monday - Friday. The successful candidate will also be required to work Wednesday evening until 20.00 covering reception duties to support our extended hours clinical provision; this is an essential requirement of the positions on offer.
You will work across both of our two sites, located within the town of Attleborough. The key duties of the receptionist role include being the first point of contact for patients via our on-line service, on the telephone or in person and dealing with any requests made. The role also involves supporting the clinical staff providing admin duties as needed. This post provides a vital service for the patients registered with us; it is diverse, fast paced, interesting and you will be working with a great team of people.
Candidates would ideally have experience in dealing with the public, good communication skills and be able to work under pressure. Candidates will have good organisational skills and a high level of computer literacy. You will need to be able to work independently and have essential problem solving skills and a good eye for detail. Candidates need to be able to maintain strict confidentiality and to work in a busy environment.
Candidates should be aware that this is a patient facing role.
There is also flexibility to take on overtime to cover holiday absences.
Experience with NHS systems such as SystmOne and online booking arrangements is desirable, but not essential.
