We pride ourselves on creating memorable dining experiences for our guests, and we're looking for a passionate and experienced Front of House Supervisor to join our team.

Job Summary:

As the Front of House Supervisor at Cappuvino, you will play a key role in ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service from the moment they walk through the door. You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the front of house team, ensuring a smooth and efficient service, and maintaining the high standards that our customers expect.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Supervise and support front of house staff, including training, scheduling, and performance management.
  • Customer Service: Ensure that every guest receives outstanding service, addressing any issues or concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Operations Management: Oversee the daily operations of the front of house, including managing reservations, seating arrangements, and coordinating with the kitchen staff to ensure timely service.
  • Quality Control: Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and presentation throughout the front of house area.
  • Sales and Upselling: Encourage and motivate the team to upsell food and beverages, enhancing the guest experience and maximizing sales.
  • Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure all health and safety regulations are followed, including food hygiene standards.
  • Problem Solving: Handle any operational issues that arise during service, finding effective solutions to ensure smooth operations.
  • Reporting: Assist the General Manager with daily reports, including sales figures, customer feedback, and staff performance.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a bar or restaurant setting.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Knowledge of food and beverage service, including bar operations, is highly desirable.
  • A positive, proactive, and problem-solving attitude.
