We have a fantastic opportunity for a Mobile Falls Responder to join our team based in Crewe on a 6-month fixed term contract.  

Our service is primarily meant to ensure safe, independent living at home for our customers in the Cheshire Area. We aim to limit the number of calls that Northwest Ambulance are required to attend so they can be redirected to those most in need.

Staff are required to liaise with individual's care and support working within remit of operational procedures and provide updates to lifeline monitoring centre.

The main function of the Mobile Responder Service is to provide a response to the Lifeline Monitoring Centre where an alarm has been triggered. The calls can vary, however the main types of calls we encounter and will respond to are:

  • Resident Fallen
  • No Resident Response
  • Assistance Required

To be considered as a Mobile Falls Responder, you will need to be:

  • Committed to patient care.
  • An effective communicator and experience of communicating with others in what can often be emotional circumstances.
  • To be a calm, considerate, careful driver, with no more than three penalty points on your license - Full UK Manual Licence is required for this position. 
  • To have a natural flair for team working and collaboration.
  • Be physically fit for patient handling and moving.
  • Pass an Enhanced DBS check (company funded).
  • Be able to work flexible shifts.
  • Familiar with the local and surrounding area.
