Senior Principal Project Manager – Golden Lane Estate
Fixed term contract until 31 March 2029

Hybrid – you'll be expected to be in the office at least 3 days per week or 60% of your working time in the office.
The City of London's Housing Service manages 12 estates, totalling 5500 homes. Three of these estates are in the Square Mile (including the iconic Barbican Estate) and a further 9 estates are in neighbouring London boroughs.
Our tenants and leaseholders are at the heart of everything we do, supporting us as we strive to effectively manage, maintain, and improve the property that is their home.
The Major Works Team (HRA) is primarily responsible for the delivery of an ambitious capital programme of planned maintenance refurbishment to the Corporation's social housing stock over the next 10 years. Works will include roof and window replacement, communal decorations, mechanical and electrical upgrades, fire safety, internal decent homes, and potentially some decarbonisation elements.
We are looking for an experienced and driven Senior Principal Project Manager, with a real desire to lead, coordinate and deliver in a typical social housing environment.
The successful candidate will have significant experience of project and contract management, together with excellent construction knowledge and an understanding of working client-side. You will also have strong communication skills and significant experience in dealing with a range of customers and stakeholders.
Aside from your excellent professional skills, being customer focused and having the right attitude, drive and enthusiasm are also key ingredients for this role.
