Position Summary

The
HR Integration support
colleague will be part of the busy HR team and be an experienced Payroll and HR professional whose primary focus will be to support a recent business acquisition and driving integration activities across all aspects of HR and Payroll. This role is initially offered for a
6-month period
, starting immediately.

In this role, you will work on end to end HR activitieshave
full payroll accountability for UK employees
, partnering closely with our global payroll provider to manage the end-to-end monthly payroll process. You will also provide support across a variety of HR functions, including payroll query management, benefits administration, recruitment, onboarding, offboarding, internal policy guidance, and general HR support to managers. You will ensure fair and consistent application of HR policies while maintaining compliance with state, federal, and country-specific laws and regulations.

Position Responsibilities

  1. HR AND PAYROLL INTEGRATION SUPPORT

  2. Support HR and payroll integration activities related to a recent acquisition.

  3. Coordinate the harmonisation of payroll processes, systems, and data between entities.
  4. Assist in aligning HR policies, procedures, and employee data to ensure consistency across the organization.
  5. Work closely with Finance, HR, and external payroll providers to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
  6. Identify and resolve integration issues, data discrepancies, and process gaps.
  7. Support compliance with local employment laws, tax regulations, and company policies during the integration period.
  8. Assist with data validation, testing, and reporting for payroll and HR systems.
  9. Provide ongoing support and guidance to stakeholders on HR and payroll matters throughout the integration.
  10. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to streamline HR and payroll operations
  11. Inventory HR systems in both companies (HRIS, ATS, LMS, T&A, benefits admin, comp tools) and map data fields
  12. Support employee master data cleansing, deduplication, and validation prior to migration
  13. Assist with data extracts, template population, and test uploads; reconcile record counts and data accuracy

  14. PAYROLL ADMINISTRATION:

  15. Document payroll cycles, calendars, cutoffs, and approvals post acquisition.

  16. Coordinate payroll activities with external service provider and ensure payroll is processed correctly by vendor and is executed on time.
  17. Understand and review end-to-end payroll processes, including pre-payroll preparation, submission to vendors, and post-payroll activities such as banking, reporting, and reconciliation.
  18. Coordinate with external payroll vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant payroll processing for the assigned entity.
  19. Identify process improvements and contribute to the harmonization of payroll practices across entities.

  20. BENEFIT ADMINISTRATION:

  21. Inventory time capture methods and absence types with a view to align time off policies to Zoetis

  22. Support migration of leave balances in Workday; reconcile carryovers and accrual rules
  23. Validate time off approvals during cutover and first live cycles as we move towards full integration
  24. Compile total rewards comparison (base pay structures, variable pay, allowances)
  25. Assist in mapping legacy benefits to Zoetis plans; support enrollment windows and data file testing
  26. Prepare and validate benefits eligibility files; track enrollment exceptions and escalations
  27. Support harmonization of allowances and other relevant compensation and benefit elements.
  28. Benefits - management of proper deductions on payroll lists - taxation etc.
  29. Manage car fleet reconciliations and returns
  30. Annual Share Option process management
  31. Administer and coordinate overall benefit plans post full integration
  32. Reporting & Data submissions, Enrollements
  33. Liaising with providers
  34. Allowance administration

Other HR & Workforce Administration activities

  • Manage employee data in HR systems (Workday) in relation to the transitioned employees, ensuring accuracy and timely system updates, with required approvals and compliance.
  • Oversee HR transactions, hiring, transfers, promotions, exits, and contingent worker management as they come up.
  • Support recruitment activities, including job postings, offer coordination, contracts, background checks, and onboarding, ensuring compliance with local regulations and DE&I principles.
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee and manager inquiries in the absence of HRBP, resolving HR process and policy questions with empathy, and escalating when necessary.
  • Contribute to knowledge management and continuous improvement of HR processes and systems

  • Build detailed cutover checklists in accordance with the master execution plan

  • Support in integration project and related duties assigned
  • Support change communication plan, prepare manager toolkits and talking points; track sentiment and FAQs
  • Coordinate furture training sessions on new systems, policies, and payroll/time processes colleague engagement and Zoetis cultural programs and initiatives

Education & prior experience

  • HR related education required, Bachelor's Degree in relevant field a plus.
  • Prior experience of managing M&A activities would be highly advantageous along with the prior handson Payroll experience.
  • Relevant generalist HR experience required; preferably in a multi-national/global company
  • Sound knowledge of HR functions, processes, local legislation and operations, data administration, compensation / benefits administration, workforce planning and employment law.
  • Knowledge and experience of pharmaceutical and/or Animal health industry is a plus
  • Experience managing HR projects is strongly preferred

  • HR Information Systems experience preferred, Workday a plus
