Role Description

This full-time, on-site Trainer Assessor role in Residential Childcare is based in Manchester. The individual will be responsible for assessing, training, and supporting learners in achieving qualifications in Residential Childcare. Key responsibilities include delivering engaging training sessions, monitoring learner progress, providing constructive feedback, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality curriculum. Additionally, the Trainer Assessor will work closely with learners to support them in meeting their personal and professional development goals while adhering to compliance and quality standards.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Residential Childcare, child protection, and safeguarding practices
  • Qualifications or certifications in assessing (e.g., A1, CAVA) and training delivery
  • Strong communication, mentoring, and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Proficiency in planning, implementing, and evaluating learning and assessment activities
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage deadlines and adapt to a dynamic environment
  • Awareness of regulatory and industry standards in residential childcare
  • Willingness to travel to meet learners and employers as needed
  • Relevant experience in training or teaching, ideally in the childcare or social care sector
