ICP Design and Delivery Manager

Location: Remote, with occasional travel to London

Salary: Competitive

Contract Type: Permanent

Working Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday

_________________________________________________________________________

We are expanding our on-street charging capability and introducing a new function focused on the Independent Connection Provider (ICP) stage of delivery. We are seeking a ICP Design and Delivery Manager to take full ownership of this workstream and become our internal subject matter expert for underground electrical connections, DNO liaison and technical design.

This is a rare opportunity to shape and lead a new area of the business, working end-to-end across design, approvals, pricing, scheduling and delivery.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Lead and manage the full ICP lifecycle for on-street EV charging installations.
  • Oversee underground cable design, routing and connections from the DNO/IDNO network to our street-level charging infrastructure.
  • Act as the primary liaison with DNOs and IDNOs, driving technical approvals and resolving queries quickly.
  • Read, interpret and create electrical designs, ensuring all work meets NERS, DNO and regulatory standards.
  • Own ICP pricing models, validate quotes, and maintain accurate cost and resource forecasting.
  • Manage multi-site delivery programmes — accountable for schedule, cost, quality and safety.
  • Lead internal planning sessions and represent the ICP function in client, supplier and executive meetings.
  • Identify risks, manage constraints (including civils), and resequence works to maintain throughput and SLAs.

What We're Looking For

  • Strong experience as an Electrical Project Manager, ideally within ICP, DNO/IDNO, EV infrastructure or utilities.
  • Understanding of underground LV connections, DNO processes and network standards.
  • Ability to read and produce electrical designs, build packs and technical documentation.
  • Proven experience owning pricing, forecasting, budgets and delivery performance.
  • Confident working with clients, suppliers, and technical stakeholders at senior level.
  • NERS experience (or exposure to NERS environments) is highly desirable.
  • A self-starter who can take the lead in building and shaping a new technical function.
