Job description:

Essential Criteria:

  • Exceptional verbal and written communications skills.
  • Must have the initiative to setup the auction room prior to the sale.
  • Able to work as a part of a team and on own initiative.
  • Provide exceptional service to all our customers and clients.
  • Reliable and adaptable, with a flexible approach to work and able to work under pressure.
  • Have a good Computer Skills.
  • Have a valid driving licence to drive a commercial van

Job Requirements/Duties:

  • Ability to meet the physical requirements of the auction house, e.g. moving and arranging furniture
  • Unloading vehicles and organising the saleroom day-to-day and preparation of items and furniture for the auction.
  • Assisting customers with incoming and outgoing of items, loading cars and vans.
  • Liaise with the office staff and prepare items for pack and despatch, delivery and collection.
  • Able to effectively prioritise tasks, work independently with initiative, and manage your own workload when needed, while also being receptive to guidance and direction when required.
  • Maintaining the auction room in accordance with agreed standards of merchandising, housekeeping, cleanliness, and security.
