The Opportunity

We're looking for an experienced, people-oriented Business Improvement and Change Consultant to support high-impact transformation projects across key water sector clients to be based in Leeds with travel as needed. This is a key role in supporting delivery of projects focusing on enabling effective people change by embedding Lean, Continuous Improvement and Change Management principles.
Sitting within the Business Information and Transformation team, reporting to the Senior Principal Consultant, you will be working closely with internal & external stakeholders to delivery change initiatives. You will work across the organisation spanning from engineers, project managers, contractors, commercial teams amongst many others.
We are looking for someone with strong problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail, who thrives in a collaborative team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop business cases and performance metrics
- Develops E2E process maps and use data to identify and recommend key opportunities for improvement and change.
- Conduct change impact assessments and stakeholder mapping
- Create and execute communication and engagement plans.
- Co-facilitate workshops and manage follow-up actions.
- Support and align initiatives with an organisation's overall goals and objectives
- Oversee the planning, execution, and successful delivery of change projects, ensuring that quality, scope, and timeline requirement are met.
- Support delivery of projects and change efforts from planning to adoption and ensuring to smooth transition to business-as-usual.
- Write reports and develop case studies.
About you -
You will be experienced in change or transformation projects with strong EQ and have the ability to manage time and stakeholders effectively whilst being flexible to work across multiple projects and locations.
You will have proven experience of embedding a continuous improvement culture across large teams and / or across organisations.
You have a passion of driving continuous improvement and change.
You have the ability to think strategically and align initiatives with an organisation's overall goals and objectives.
Effective project management skills to plan, execute, and deliver projects from inception to delivery.
Strong understanding of business processes, preferably in operational organisations.
Additionally, you have hold change management certifications (Lean/APMG, Prosci) and have experience working in a consultancy setting or water sector experience.
