for a short-term consultancy engagement.

As a
Business Architect
, you will play a pivotal role in defining the future of how we operate. You'll design a cohesive business architecture that underpins our strategic change agenda, ensuring alignment between strategy, structure, capabilities, and delivery.

Your work will ensure that we have the right activities, governance, and capabilities in place to deliver a transformation plan effectively and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver a business design architecture that supports strategic change, aligns to the recent restructure, and is guided by clear design principles to inform decision-making across change programmes.
  • Review the current operating model and develop the target operating model (To-Be) to support the integration of key change and improvement functions, including:
  • Enterprise Change (as-is)
  • Business Design capability (including Process & Continuous Improvement teams)
  • Executive PMO (EPMO), Business Change, and Programme Delivery functions
  • Ensure the new design promotes clear accountability, efficient delivery, and alignment to strategic priorities.
  • Partner with senior stakeholders to translate strategy into operational design and execution.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Business Architect, Operating Model Lead, or similar strategic design role.
  • Strong background in business design, target operating model (TOM) development, and organisational transformation.
  • Skilled in stakeholder engagement, able to influence at the executive level.
  • Experience in integrating change, PMO, and improvement functions into a unified model.
  • Comfortable operating in complex, evolving environments with multiple transformation programmes.
  • Experience working with utilities will be advantageous.
