At Park School Nursery we offer a thriving, stimulating setting which has been carefully designed to create welcoming spaces for our children aged 6 months to 4 years. As part of the Forfar Education family of schools and nurseries we strive to develop the children in our care to be confident, creative and interested in everything the world has to offer.

We are currently looking to recruit a creative, expressive and passionate early years educator to enhance our enrichment opportunities. We are excited to be getting ready to open our new 'Studio' room in the new year, where small groups of children can have more in-depth learning opportunities based around cooking, creating and art.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Planning, enhancing and evaluating small group activities within the Studio room
  • Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
  • Ensuring the children are safe at all times of the day

We are offering an in person, part-time and permanent position of 27.5 hours, working Monday – Friday. This will consist of 5 half days 8am-1:30pm.

Salary: Up to £19,000 a year (based on an experienced level 3 practitioner at £13.15 per hour)

You must hold a Level 3 or above full and relevant Early Years qualification.

Park School Nursery is committed to safeguarding children, and all candidates will be subject to rigorous safeguarding procedures including pre-employment checks with the Disclosure and Barring Service.

Applicants will be required to undergo child protection screening appropriate to the post, including checks with past employers and the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
