Job Description:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Assistant to join our team, with a strong focus on payroll and expense management. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring accurate and timely financial processes across multiple countries, supporting compliance, and delivering exceptional service to employees.
This is an excellent opportunity to work in a collaborative and supportive environment, gain hands-on experience with international payroll processes, and develop your expertise in compliance standards.
This is a hybrid role, working 2 days a week in our Cambridge Headquarters.
What Will I Be Doing:
Payroll Support
- Assisting with the accurate and efficient processing of payrolls across multiple countries.
- Managing and responding to payroll-related queries within agreed SLAs.
- Supporting the preparation and validation of monthly payroll entries.
- Acting as a point of contact for resolving payroll issues promptly and professionally.
Expenses
- Processing employee expense reports accurately and on time.
- Ensuring all expense claims comply with company Travel Policy and HMRC regulations.
- Collaborating with the team to resolve expense queries quickly.
- Maintaining up-to-date and accurate staff and third-party details in the finance system.
- Supporting general payment processing and assisting with urgent or special international transactions when required.
What Experience Do I Need:
- Education: Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field or equivalent experience
- Interest: Strong desire to pursue a career in payroll.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel). Knowledge of finance systems is a plus.
- Nice to Have: Previous experience (internships or administrative roles) in payroll or expense management.
