An exciting opportunity has arisen for enthusiastic and motivated Finance Co-ordinator(s) to join the Clinical School Finance Team. This role is a unique opportunity to work as a member of the School Team, providing direct assistance to a number of the School's departments, whilst helping to support key projects such as the implementation of the University's Finance Transformation Programme.

The successful candidate will: provide account management services to a range of departments in the School, overseeing the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual management reports across both the general ledger and research grants; contribute to the review of financial processes and procedures to ensure compliance with the University's Financial Regulations; provide support to key finance projects being managed by the Clinical School Finance Team; and support the administration of Trust Funds held within the School.

The ideal candidate will be educated to GCSE level (or equivalent qualification) in Maths and English; have experience in an accounts-based role, with the use of accountancy software packages and relevant reporting tools; have AAT Level 4 Professional Diploma (or equivalent accounting qualification) or be actively studying for the later stages of that qualification.

The Clinical School Finance Team are based in the Clinical School Office which is part of the Cambridge Biomedical Campus, and are currently operating a hybrid working model. This arrangement is subject to regular review, and the successful postholder would be expected to attend the workplace circa. 2-3 days per week (working from home on the remaining days).

This role is available on a full time, part time or flexible (e.g. term time) basis. Part time applications to complete some aspects of the role would be welcomed, and may result in more than one appointment.
