We are looking for a Senior Tax Manager to join our awesome tax team, who has a real focus on building on their tax knowledge and experience to help deliver a robust & tax efficient service to help clients meet their wider objectives.
We are recruiting for the position across all our hub offices; Derby, Birmingham, London, Reading, Edinburgh and Manchester or alternatively, remote (UK-based).
About you...
As our next Senior Tax Manager, you will look after a portfolio of clients to deliver both compliance and advisory services whilst providing a "wow" experience, removing the jargon and ensuring a stellar first-rate service.
We are looking for someone who will:
- Support our client base across a multitude of complex corporate tax advisory matters and other areas which you either have experience or are up for learning about (such as share options, investor reliefs, R&D, transaction tax services to name but a few)
- Identify clients' needs and maximise on Cooper Parry's range of services to meet those needs
- Manage client expectations as well as build and retain strong client relationships
- Manage the corporation tax compliance portfolios and liaising with colleagues in other service lines
- Assisting with drafting and presenting proposals to new and existing clients
- Providing technical expertise to ensure advice performed is accurate, understandable and not in jargon
- Stay up-to-date on changes in tax laws and regulations and communicate these changes to relevant stakeholders
- Support the team to develop by delivering regular coaching and feedback to others
- Contribute to the development and improvement of our ways of working within the firm alongside other members of the manager group
