The role:

Are you a tax expert with a passion for navigating complex international financial landscapes? We're looking for a skilled Tax Manager to play a key role in supporting our UK holding and financing structure at our global headquarters in London. This is your opportunity to work with a large, multinational business, tackling inbound and outbound operations, cross-border transactions, and evolving global tax policies.

What you'll be doing:

  • Shape tax strategies: Advise on tax-efficient structures and contribute to strategic business planning.

  • Lead tax reporting & compliance: Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and year-end tax calculations and returns for a complex group of ~40 entities.

  • Navigate tax law changes: Monitor regulatory shifts and assess their impact on business operations.

  • Advise senior leadership: Communicate tax strategies effectively to key stakeholders.

  • Drive data accuracy: Deliver precise tax data and forecasts for the UK group tax profile.

  • Manage global tax matters: Oversee cross-border tax arrangements and quantify uncertain tax positions.

  • Strengthen key relationships: Maintain trusted partnerships with stakeholders, advisors, and HMRC, with a focus on OECD Pillar II compliance.

Who we're looking for:

  • ACA, CA, CTA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification with strong corporate tax and accounting knowledge.

  • Excellent understanding of financial transactions, including intercompany loans, swaps, options, and hedges.

  • Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.

  • Well-developed analytical and problem-solving abilities with a commercial approach to resolving issues.

  • Capable of prioritizing and managing multiple projects while meeting stakeholders' expectations.

  • Continuously maintains and develops technical knowledge, with an inquisitive nature and attention to detail.

  • Proficient in SAP and consolidation software for data extraction and reconciliation.

  • Experience with IFRS is highly desirable, along with a high level of drive, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude.
