Carbon13 builds and backs ventures addressing Earth's critical life support systems. Initially this means tackling the most urgent problem of our time – climate change.

We help build new ventures that safeguard Earth, and their first hire is often a Founders Associate.  So to help them scale as effectively as possible, Carbon13 are creating a network of passionate and skilled candidates who would want to be an early employee in these exciting startups.

Our portfolio don't always have Founders Associate roles open — but when new portfolio startups launch, this is often the first hire we look for. By registering your interest, you'll be at the front of the line when opportunities arise.

The Role:

As a Founders Associate, typically you'll work side-by-side with the founding team to:

  • Drive operations and keep the business moving day to day
  • Support fundraising (pitch decks, models, investor engagement)
  • Contribute to sales, marketing, and partnerships
  • Take on whatever is needed to help the startup succeed

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-moving environments, has entreprenuerial spirit, wants to build a career in climate-tech, and is excited to wear many hats as a startup grows.

  • Interest or experience in operations, fundraising, marketing, or business development
