We are seeking an experienced and proactive Senior Property Manager to lead our expanding Lettings and Property Management team in Darlington. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to take ownership of a growing portfolio, drive business development, and oversee the day-to-day operations of our property management department.
You will play a key role in shaping the future of our portfolio, ensuring exceptional service delivery to landlords and tenants, and supporting the continued growth of Carver Lettings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the management of the residential property portfolio, ensuring compliance and customer satisfaction.
- Lead, mentor, and support the property management team to deliver high performance and excellent service.
- Drive portfolio growth through proactive business development and landlord acquisition.
- Maintain strong relationships with landlords, tenants, and contractors.
- Oversee property maintenance, conduct inspections, and compliance processes.
- Manage tenancy lifecycles including rent reviews, check-ins, and checkouts.
- Ensure all lettings processes adhere to current legislation and company policies.
- Analyse performance metrics and contribute to strategic planning for business growth.
- Promote Carver Lettings and cross-sell associated services.
- Represent the company professionally and uphold our reputation for excellence.
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience in property management, ideally in a senior or supervisory role.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Strong understanding of lettings legislation and compliance.
- A commercial mindset with a passion for business growth and client care.
- Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Confident using property management software and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- ARLA qualification (or willingness to obtain).
Key Benefits:
- Full-time hours: Monday to Friday, 8.45am – 5.00pm
- Saturdays on a rota basis (9.00am – 1.00pm, time off in lieu)
- Up to 1 hour lunch break
