Position Overview:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Systems Migration Business Analyst with strong QA expertise to support critical system migration initiatives. This role combines business analysis, data quality assurance, and functional testing to ensure successful transitions from legacy systems to modern platforms. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders while maintaining rigorous quality standards throughout the migration process.

We understand the need to provide a flexible working environment partnered with team collaboration and socialisation. Therefore, we operate a hybrid working model with 2 days of working from home per week. This role is based in the London, UK office.

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate requirements gathering sessions with business users
  • Analyze current state systems and processes to develop comprehensive migration strategies
  • Document business requirements and data mappings
  • Identify risks, dependencies, and critical success factors for migration projects
  • Design and execute data validation strategies for pre and post-migration scenarios
  • Document data discrepancies and work with teams to resolve issues
  • Develop comprehensive test plans covering end-to-end process scenarios
  • Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) with business stakeholders
  • Validate that migrated systems meet business requirements and performance standards
  • Collaborate with training team to train end users on new system functionality post-migration

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in systems migration projects.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent documentation skills.
  • Proven experience working in an Agile (Scrum/Kanban) environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly.
  • Demonstrated experience in both data QA and functional QA methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience with system migration or data conversion projects.
  • IT/CRM or Sales and Marketing Applications
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, NetSuite, SuiteProjects (OpenAir), HubSpot, Zoho, and other systems.
