Join usas an ERP Data Migration Analyst and play a key role in our global ERP transformation journey. You'll support the migration of data from our German entity into Merlin's new Global ERP system, working closely with the Data Migration Lead, technology teams, and business stakeholders. This is a hands-on role where you'll analyse, cleanse, and validate large datasets, ensuring data integrity and alignment with business requirements. From preparation through to post-go-live support, you'll be integral to delivering a smooth and successful data transition that underpins the accuracy and reliability of our new global system.

This is a hybrid position based at our Head Office in Southwark.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the design and delivery of effective data migration strategies and plans in alignment with business objectives.
  • Conduct data mapping, extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) between legacy and new ERP systems.
  • Carry out data profiling, cleansing, and validation activities to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
  • Collaborate with IT, business analysts, and functional stakeholders to gather requirements and resolve issues.
  • Identify data quality risks and implement appropriate mitigation measures.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of migration processes, outcomes, and key decisions.
  • Support testing, user acceptance, and post-migration reconciliation activities.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by recommending enhancements to data migration tools and processes.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Strong analytical skills and a meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proven experience as a Data Analyst, ideally within ERP or finance system migrations.
  • Solid understanding of data models, relational databases, and data structures.
  • Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with data analysis and ETL tools.
  • Experience working with large, complex, and global datasets.
  • Understanding of data cleansing, validation, and reconciliation methodologies.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex data insights clearly to non-technical audiences.
  • A collaborative and proactive approach, with strong problem-solving capabilities.
  • Experience supporting post go-live data activities.
  • German language skills would be an advantage.
