An exciting opportunity has arisen to join us as an ERP Data Migration Lead, where you'll play a key role in our global transformation journey. This pivotal role will see you take full ownership of migrating data from our German entity into Merlin's Global ERP solution. You'll lead end-to-end migration activities — from discovery and data mapping through to validation, load, and post-go-live support — ensuring data integrity and a seamless transition. Working closely with technical teams and business stakeholders, you'll be instrumental in shaping and delivering a successful data migration strategy that underpins our global operations.

This is a hybrid position based at our Head Office in Southwark. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive data migration strategies and plans for the German entity's transition to the Global ERP.

  • Coordinate with stakeholders to define migration requirements, scope, and timelines.

  • Lead the data migration team, assigning tasks, managing progress, and ensuring delivery against key milestones.

  • Oversee data mapping, extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.

  • Conduct risk assessments and define mitigation strategies for potential migration challenges.

  • Maintain the highest standards of data quality, accuracy, and security throughout the migration lifecycle.

  • Collaborate closely with IT, business analysts, and functional leads to resolve technical and business issues.

  • Prepare and maintain detailed documentation, including process definitions, outcomes, and lessons learned.

  • Support post-migration validation, user acceptance testing, and early-stage business adoption.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Extensive experience leading end-to-end data migration within large-scale ERP transformation programmes, ideally involving NetSuite.

  • Strong understanding of finance and accounting data structures within ERP systems.

  • Proven ability to design and deliver ETL strategies, ensuring robust validation and reconciliation.

  • Solid grasp of data governance, master data management, and data modelling principles.

  • Hands-on experience with data migration tools, automation frameworks, and proficiency in SQL for data validation and troubleshooting.

  • Experience managing complex, global datasets — experience working with German entities would be highly advantageous.

  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to translate technical detail into business impact.

  • Strong leadership, organisation, and stakeholder management capabilities.

  • A proactive, detail-oriented approach and a passion for delivering high-quality outcomes.

  • German language skills would be an advantage.
