The Responsible AI & Privacy Manager will support the creation of a culture of responsible AI governance and privacy compliance, assisting in the implementation of the Group's RAI governance framework and Privacy policies in alignment with the EU AI Act and Privacy regulations.
The Manager will work closely with the DP & Responsible AI Senior Manager in providing operational & Governance support for RAI governance and privacy compliance. The role focuses on day-to-day implementation, monitoring, and reporting activities
What you'll do
- Support the upkeep and application of the Group's RAI policies and minimum standards in alignment with EU AI Act requirements and privacy compliance activities across Flutter Functions.
- Support AI system risk evaluations and classifications according to the EU AI Act, as well as Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) for new initiatives and systems.
- Assist with AI Impact Assessments (AIIAs) for Flutter Functions AI projects and suppliers, and incorporate privacy-by-design principles into new systems and processes.
- Keep records of AI system inventory, risk classification, processing activities, and privacy compliance measurements for Flutter Functions departments.
- Monitor adherence to RAI governance controls and privacy compliance controls, report on key risk indicators, and maintain privacy documentation.
- Support training and awareness initiatives for responsible AI methods and privacy compliance programs.
- Support regulatory inquiries and prepare compliance documentation concerning AI systems, data subject rights requests, and privacy incident response.
- Build relationships and support the development of coordinated AI and privacy governance approaches.
- Assist with regulatory reporting and communications with collaborators.
- Contribute to policy development and guideline sharing.
- Assist with any additional tasks as requested by the Group Head of Privacy and RAI or equivalent experience.
What you'll need
- Educated to degree level in technology, law, privacy, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4+ years of experience in AI governance, privacy compliance, technology risk, or regulatory compliance.
- Knowledge of EU AI Act requirements and GDPR/privacy regulations.
- Experience with risk assessment methodologies and compliance frameworks.
- Basic understanding of AI systems, machine learning, and data processing activities.
- Knowledge of privacy-by-design principles and data protection guidelines.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in technology environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Competence to function successfully in lively, swiftly evolving surroundings.
- AI governance or privacy certification (e.g., IAPP certifications, ISO/IEC is preferred.
- Experience in gaming, fintech, or regulated industries is a plus.
- Knowledge of additional regulatory frameworks (e.g., consumer protection, financial services) is advantageous.
- Experience with compliance monitoring tools and systems.

- Proactive approach to identifying risks and implementing practical solutions.
