Junior Mechanic

Location: Edenbridge, Kent

Salary: £34,000–£37,000 DOE + Bonuses

OTE: Up to £52,000

Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:30pm

(Alternate Saturdays – two per month, with a weekday off in return)

We are searching for a motivated Junior Mechanic / Vehicle Technician to join our established Edenbridge workshop. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with early-stage experience who wants to develop, earn well, and work in a calm, supportive environment without dealership pressure or unrealistic targets.

Role Responsibilities

• Carry out routine servicing, maintenance, and mechanical repairs
• Assist with diagnostics and fault-finding using up-to-date tools
• Support MOT preparation and inspection processes
• Work closely with senior technicians to expand your skills
• Uphold workshop standards and deliver consistently high-quality workmanship

About You

• 1–2 years' experience as a Vehicle Technician, Junior Mechanic, or Automotive Technician
• NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent)
• Full UK Driving Licence
• A proactive mindset with a willingness to learn
• Strong attention to detail and pride in the quality of your work
