Junior Mechanic

Location: High Brooms, Kent

Salary: £30,000 – £39,000 per year OTE (Basic up to £35,000 + monthly bonus £200–£400)

Hours: Monday–Friday (Early finishes Thursday & Friday, no weekends)

Role Overview

We are looking for a Junior Mechanic / Vehicle Technician with 1–2 years' experience to join our busy, family-run garage in High Brooms. This role offers a fantastic work-life balance, competitive pay, and performance-related bonuses.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, repairs, and mechanical maintenance on different vehicles
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults
• Prepare vehicles for MOT inspections and perform safety checks
• Conduct road tests after repairs and servicing
• Keep accurate service and repair records
• Work with service advisors and colleagues to maintain quality and safety standards

About You

• 1–2 years' experience as a Vehicle Technician, Junior Mechanic, or Service Technician
• Familiar with vehicle servicing, diagnostics, and mechanical repairs
• Committed to high-quality workmanship
• Reliable, motivated, and a team player
• Professional attitude with strong attention to detail
