A market-leading captive finance organisation within the commercial vehicle sector is seeking a commercially astute
Director: Operations and Credit
to join its executive leadership team. This is a pivotal role, responsible for shaping the credit and operational strategy of a high-performing finance business that supports a premium brand across the UK.

This is a rare opportunity to lead a multi-functional team, drive operational excellence, and influence strategic direction at board level.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and evolve the credit and operations strategy across the UK business
  • Manage risk, compliance, and profitability across credit, collections, and contract administration
  • Drive operational excellence and continuous improvement across all functions
  • Educate and coach stakeholders to elevate credit and operational understanding
  • Ensure robust controls and regulatory alignment across credit and operations
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver scalable, future-fit capabilities

Candidate Profile
We Are Seeking a Proven Executive With

  • 10+ years' senior leadership experience in credit and operations
  • Strong strategic thinking and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Deep understanding of credit risk, collections, and operational controls
  • Experience in financial services or automotive sectors preferred
  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and compliance standards
  • Inspirational leadership style with a track record of team development
