This is a great job for someone from a lending background with an understanding of a Credit Risk (First Line) role with good stakeholder lending management skills, strong analytical/reporting abilities, and a natural attention to detail.
A bit about the job:
The Credit team is a front office function that supports both the origination and monitoring of private debt exposures (secured and unsecured) within the Aviva Investors Private Markets business. You will likely be reporting to Directors across the sector coverage who provide formal oversight of both new lending propositions presented by the deal origination teams, as well as monitoring of the existing debt portfolio managed by AI for internal and external fund clients. The role is a for an Associate Director to cover a broad range of debt/assets across the Real Estate. Infrastructure, and Structured Finance and Corporate Debt space. Within the role you will review lending submissions/reviews, ensure appropriate risk and rating factors have been considered, and provide clear opinions to support approval /rejection. Skills and experience we're looking for:
Experience in private debt markets within Aviva or at a lending institution operating in competing markets
An understanding of key investment/commercial risk factors that need to be assessed in reviewing private debt assets – new and existing.

What you'll get for this role:
Generous pension scheme - Aviva will contribute up to 14%, depending on what you put in
Eligibility for annual performance bonus
Family friendly parental and carer's leave

In this role you'll be 'Certified' under the Financial Conduct Authority / Prudential Regulation Authority's Senior Managers and Certification Regime (SMCR).
