We are seeking an organised and proactive Exams and Cover Manager to join our team. This is a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient administration of all internal and external examinations in line with JCQ regulations, while also managing daily staff cover requirements. We are looking to appoint a dynamic individual to ensure that the school complies with the examination board rules, ensuring exams are invigilated in a way that meets the exam board regulations and provide advice and guidance on the examination board's rules and regulations to staff and pupils. You will work within school under the direction of the Senior Leadership Team, managing student data to provide accurate and up to date analysis of assessment and target data.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of the school's examination processes, including entries, timetabling, rooming, and compliance with exam board regulations.
- Liaise with staff, students, and parents to ensure accurate communication and support throughout exam periods.
- Recruit, train, and manage a team of invigilators.
- Manage the daily cover arrangements for teaching staff, liaising with supply agencies as required.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with safeguarding, data protection, and health and safety policies.

Essential Requirements
- Good standard of education (numeracy and literacy)
- Level 3 qualification in a relevant field (e.g., administration)
- Enhanced DBS clearance
