Role: Business Development Manager

About the Role
This newly created position focuses on maintaining existing relationships and generating new business for the identi group's microchip division. As an
RVN with a passion for animal welfare and experience in sales
, you'll use your in-practice expertise to promote compliance and highlight the importance of accurate pet microchip registration.

You'll engage with veterinary practices and charities, ensuring they receive exceptional support and understand the benefits of choosing the identi group as their pet protection partner. Working both remotely and in the field (approximately 50/50), you'll manage your own schedule, attend industry exhibitions, and contribute to the department's ongoing growth. Regular reporting and business reviews will take place at our York head office.

Essential Criteria

·      
Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN)
 with hands-on experience of microchipping within practice.

Full UK driving licence
 and willingness to travel nationally, including overnight stays where required.

Self-motivated and results-driven
, with a strong commitment to delivering outstanding customer care.

Able to work independently
 while also collaborating effectively as part of a wider, multi-departmental team.

Resilient and proactive
, with a positive "can-do" attitude and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.

Proven experience in sales or promotion
 of veterinary or animal health-related products or services.

Based in Central England
 with good access to transport links.
