Job Summary
We're looking for an ambitious and proactive Sales Coordinator to support sales operations at 3 & 15 West Lane, featuring 378 premium serviced apartments in Canary Wharf's prestigious Private Estate.

This role is integral to driving revenue and securing new business. The Sales Coordinator will act as a key touchpoint for prospective residents and corporate clients, delivering persuasive sales communication, handling enquiries with pace and accuracy, and ensuring exceptional conversion from lead to booking.

The position will support lead generation, account management, and revenue initiatives, while maintaining a deep understanding of market trends and the competitive landscape. Strong relationship stewardship will be essential to foster loyalty and position Vertus Edit as the preferred accommodation partner in Canary Wharf.

As part of a newly launched development, this role offers significant growth potential and the opportunity to influence the future shape of the sales operation.

Main Responsibilities

  • Respond to inbound sales enquiries and proactively qualify opportunities to drive maximum conversion.
  • Ensure all meeting room enquiries are actioned within the same day whenever possible, or within a strict 24-hour turnaround.
  • Build and strengthen relationships with existing and new customers to enable future bookings.
  • Represent the hotel at trade shows,FAM Trips, and customer events to drive brand awareness.
  • Develop relationships within the Canary Wharf community to strengthen and expand customer base for sales opportunities.
  • Lead the coordination of group, relocation, and corporate bookings from proposal through to confirmation, ensuring positive commercial outcomes
  • Prepare internal briefing materials for VIP arrivals to protect account satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Identify and reach out to potential customers to generate new business opportunities.
  • Drive exceptional sales service delivery aligned with Vertus Edit brand standards and KPIs.
  • Implement proven sales techniques and follow-up protocols to maximise enquiry-to-conversion performance.
  • Deliver compelling site tours for prospective corporate clients and bookers to secure commitment.
  • Assist Sales Manager in execution of the hotel Annual Sales Plan.
  • Support the Sales Manager with RFP submissions, account retention activities, and presentation materials.
  • Contribute to the creation of standard operating procedures, sales templates, and efficiencies that enhance commercial performance.
  • Work closely with Operations and Front of House to protect service excellence throughout the client journey and secure repeat business.
  • Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
  • Manage daily, weekly and monthly communication via email, Hubspot and Mews.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

  • Proven experience in hotel sales/reservations, preferably in the aparthotel sector.
  • Knowledge of property management systems PMS (MEWS PMS desirable) however full training will be provided if required along with ongoing access to MEWS market leading training resource.
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and handle multiple tasks.
  • Proficient level of English, and exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proven experience in sales activations and internal and external collaboration is essential.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar tools.
  • Have strong selling skills and an understanding of reservations and revenue management.
  • Be a pro-active team player who easily connects with others.
  • Knowledge of Canary Wharf market and corporate travel trends.
  • Familiarity with GDS and RFP processes.
  • Right to work in the UK required.
