Hours: Approximately 30 hours per week, including weekday lunch and evening shifts, and definite weekend availability

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced, bar-trained team member who delivers excellent customer service and takes real pride in maintaining high standards. This role includes a mix of weekday lunch shifts, weekday evening shifts, and weekend work, with bar duties mainly at weekends and floor duties during the week.

You will work within a friendly, supportive team on a lively High Street with a great atmosphere.

Key ResponsibilitiesBar Duties (mainly weekends)

  • Deliver warm, attentive customer service at all times
  • Prepare and serve drinks confidently, including cocktails
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and presentable bar area
  • Ensure the bar is fully stocked throughout the shift
  • Restock spirits, wines, beers, glassware, garnishes, and soft drinks
  • Manage bar cleanliness, wiping surfaces regularly and keeping service flowing smoothly

Floor Duties (weekday lunch and evening shifts)

  • Provide excellent customer service, greeting and assisting guests throughout their visit
  • Run food and drinks
  • Clear and reset tables promptly
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation
  • Support the team to ensure smooth, efficient service

  • Strong customer service skills and a friendly, confident manner
  • Someone who takes pride in maintaining a clean and well-presented bar area
  • Able to work weekday lunch and evening shifts, as well as weekends
  • Comfortable working a mix of bar and floor duties
  • Good communication skills and a positive, team-focused attitude
  • Enjoys working in a busy hospitality environment
