Job Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences. This role involves preparing and serving drinks, maintaining a welcoming environment, and ensuring all health and safety standards are met. Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is advantageous, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are equally valued. Duties

  • Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, in accordance with company standards
  • Take orders from guests accurately and efficiently, providing friendly and attentive service
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations
  • Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth service throughout shifts
  • Handle cash transactions accurately using the till system
  • Upsell drinks and promotions to maximise sales opportunities
  • Assist with basic food preparation when required, supporting kitchen staff as needed
  • Monitor guest behaviour to promote responsible drinking and ensure safety at all times
  • Engage with guests to create a welcoming atmosphere, enhancing overall guest satisfaction

Requirements

  • Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant service, or bar work is preferred but not essential; a positive attitude and eagerness to learn are important
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling of beverages
  • Strong organisational skills with good time management abilities to handle busy periods effectively
  • Excellent guest service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
  • Basic maths skills for handling payments accurately
  • Experience in food preparation or culinary activities is advantageous but not mandatory
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
  • A friendly demeanour with a professional approach to customer interactions
