End Grain is a high-end joinery workshop and kitchen manufacturer based in Haddenham, working on some of the UK's most demanding residential projects. Our sister brand, EG Trade, supplies premium kitchen appliances (Siemens, Neff, Gaggenau, Fisher & Paykel, etc.) to both private clients and developers.

We've joined Glenigan to access a constant flow of live construction projects. Now we need someone to turn those leads into conversations and those conversations into contracts.

The Role

You'll be the first point of contact for potential clients — the person who finds the projects, makes the call, and gets us in front of decision-makers before our competitors.

Working directly with the Managing Director, you'll build a pipeline of developers, main contractors, architects, and interior designers who need kitchens, joinery, or appliances supplied. You'll be part researcher, part salesperson, part detective.

Key Responsibilities

  • Use Glenigan, Constructionline, and other databases to identify new projects and contacts.
  • Call and email developers, main contractors, and architects to introduce End Grain / EG Trade.
  • Log all opportunities in the CRM, track conversations, and schedule follow-ups.
  • Coordinate with our estimating and workshop teams to issue proposals quickly.
  • Maintain relationships with repeat clients and key specifiers.
  • Create light marketing touchpoints — follow-up emails, LinkedIn outreach, and newsletters.
  • Prepare monthly activity reports and pipeline updates.

What You'll Need

  • Confidence and clarity when speaking to professionals in construction and design.
  • Experience in B2B sales, construction supply, or trade distribution preferred.
  • Organised, self-driven, and persistent — you'll be managing your own workload.
  • Strong written English and attention to detail (no "hope this finds you well" spam).
  • CRM literacy (HubSpot, Pipedrive, or similar).
  • A sense of humour helps — we don't do dull.
