Operations Assistant (Live Show Support) – Cantonese Speaking

Location: Manchester

Salary: £23,000 to £26,000 per annum

Full-time, 37.5 hours per week

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Operations Assistant (Live Show Support) to join our growing team in Manchester. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys fast-paced environments, live broadcasting, and supporting creative projects. Native-level Cantonese and proficient English are essential for clear communication between our UK and Hong Kong teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and organise materials and products prior to live broadcasts
  • Assist in planning the live show calendar with KOLs and merchants
  • Monitor and respond to audience engagement during live shows
  • Oversee customer service and order fulfillment during live broadcasts
  • Support ad-hoc tasks and cross-functional coordination

Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • 1–3 years of administrative or operational experience (fresh graduates are also welcome)
  • Native fluency in Cantonese and intermediate proficiency in English (spoken and written)
  • Previous experience in live broadcasting or media is an advantage
  • Excellent communication, multitasking, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, international, start-up environment
  • Immediate availability is preferred
