About The Role
As a Customer Service Administrator, you will play a key role in ensuring that customer orders are processed efficiently and accurately in line with departmental procedures and service level agreements. Acting as the main point of contact between the customer and the organisation, you will maintain smooth communication, coordinate with transport planners, and ensure all customer requirements are met promptly and professionally. This role will require you to work Monday to Friday, 09:00 – 17:30
You will be responsible for
- Processing customer orders in line with agreed SLAs, procedures, and work instructions.
- Acting as the primary contact between the customer and the organisation, providing updates and advice as needed.
- Liaising with transport planners to confirm lead times and arrange transport bookings.
- Monitoring order progress and proactively address any issues or delays to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Handling customer queries and requests efficiently, ensuring all requirements are met to a high standard.
About You
You are a proactive and motivated individual who takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service while building and maintaining strong business relationships. You have excellent organisational skills, can prioritise tasks effectively, and remain calm and focused under pressure, ensuring deadlines are met without compromising quality. You take initiative, spot opportunities for improvement, and act decisively to achieve results that align with the organisation's goals.
You communicate confidently and professionally with both customers and colleagues, demonstrating strong listening skills and the ability to stay composed even in challenging situations. Driven by high standards and a commitment to excellence, you consistently strive to exceed expectations. You bring solid knowledge of MS Office, a genuine interest in business-to-business interactions, and experience in delivering outstanding service in demanding customer service environments.
