We are looking for qualified Nursery Practitioners to support our team at our Romford nursery. With an excellent knowledge of the EYFS and birth to 5 matters you will be able to support the children in your care, and give them the best possible learning experiences.

The nursery location is perfect for easy commuting as it is situated near the bus and train stations. Fledgelings Day Nurseries is family owned, with 4 sites across the Havering area, providing high quality experiences and education for all the children in our care.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality care and education for children in the nursery setting.
  • Plan and implement engaging activities that promote learning and development across various areas.
  • Observe and assess children's progress, documenting their achievements and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Communicate and build relationships with children and their parents.
  • Manage daily routines, ensuring the safety and well-being of all children in your care.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating strong leadership skills to guide and inspire other team members.

Skills

  • A minimum of a level 3 qualification in Early Childhood Education is essential.
  • Experience working with children is desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong organisational skills.
  • A drive to create an inclusive environment that caters to the diverse needs of all children, including SEN.
  • Teamwork qualities that enable you to motivate and work together as an effective team.
  • A genuine passion for childcare and the development of young children.
