IP Executive

About the Role

We're looking for a highly organised, proactive IP Executive to join our Global Intellectual Property team. Reporting to the VP - Global IP, you'll play a key role in managing and delivering Merlin's global IP partnerships from Peppa Pig to Marvel, Star Wars, Minecraft and CBeebies.

This is an exciting opportunity to work at the heart of Merlin's world-class brand collaborations, supporting both the financial and operational performance of our IP portfolio.

What You'll Be Doing

License & Royalty Management
  • Track, process and manage all contractual license fee payments and royalty statements.
  • Coordinate with internal and external finance teams to ensure timely, accurate payments.
  • Maintain key financial databases and support end-of-year reporting, tracking performance and trends.
IP Performance Management
  • Work closely with attractions to review IP product performance and ensure all contractual obligations are met.
  • Partner with internal teams on product upgrades, retail development opportunities, and F&B initiatives.
  • Produce performance presentations and commercial reviews for our IP partners.
Internal Account Management
  • Support internal IP budget processing and admin tasks such as audits, deal tracking and template management.
  • Maintain key contact databases and an active deal tracker to keep the business aligned.
  • Assist with presentation materials, case studies and internal communications for IP initiatives.
  • Work with research agencies to align and report on all the latest IP trends in market
