The Inbound Licensing team bring a range of awesome brands and IPs into the LEGO portfolio, in order to further enhance the reach and relevancy of the LEGO Brand with diversity of consumers globally. We pride ourselves in nurturing best in class relationships with our brand partners.
Core Responsibilities
- Build and nurture meaningful partnerships with key inbound licensing partners, ensuring exceptional collaboration at every touchpoint. Create strong internal and external networks that drive shared success and long-term relationships.
- Apply commercial and marketing expertise to unlock the full potential of each partnership—from portfolio development to marketing execution. Identify new opportunities across partner ecosystems to bring fans closer to the LEGO brand.
- Lead negotiations and manage contracts with care and precision. Secure mutually beneficial terms, guide complex deals through completion, and deliver results with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Stay curious and informed about emerging and trending IPs. Use your insight, data literacy, and instinct to guide the business toward the most relevant opportunities in entertainment, gaming, and consumer culture.
- Shape the future of our partnerships. Develop and implement category strategies and roadmaps grounded in industry knowledge, analytical thinking, and a clear understanding of our audiences.
Do you have what it takes?
- Extensive experience in the toy, entertainment, or licensing industry in a global role. (Experience across entertainment franchises preferable)
- Proven success building and managing partnerships—you collaborate with ease, negotiate with confidence, and create strong relationships that deliver mutual value.
- Commercially minded and creatively driven, with experience in marketing, buying, or other commercial functions. You enjoy turning insights into opportunities.
- A clear and engaging communicator, skilled at connecting with people across levels, cultures, and teams.
- Curious and inventive problem solver who thrives on innovation and challenges the status quo to find better ways of working.
- Highly organized and detail-focused, able to balance multiple priorities and move projects forward in a dynamic environment.
- Collaborative and self-motivated—you bring positive energy to a team and work independently with confidence.
- Open to travel when needed to meet partners and strengthen relationships.
