HO HO HO – Christmas is Coming… Want to Join the Festive Fun?

Do you count down to Christmas all year long? Love the twinkle of fairy lights, the sound of festive tunes, and the smell of gingerbread in the air? Are you the kind of person who rocks a Christmas jumper with pride and always brings the holiday cheer?

Well then… we want YOU to come and join our magical Christmas Team

LAST HOURS AVAILABLE: shifts on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday & Saturdays – this role can be split into 2 positions if you are only available on some of these days.

IMPORTANT UPDATE DUE TO HIGH NUMBERS OF APPLICANTS, WE NOT LONGER HAVE ANY 'WEEKEND ONLY' ROLES AVAILABLE. WE ARE SEEKING FESTIVE TEAM TO WORK A BLEND OF WEEK DAYS AND WEEKENDS.

We're on the lookout for joyful, bubbly, all-round fabulous people to help us deliver the ultimate festive experience at our Garden Centres this season. Being a Festive hot spot, these are fast paced roles, so you can expect to be doing them 20,000 steps a day to help us make memorable moments for all of our visitors.

Scanning Elf

  • As a Scanning Elf, you'll be the first point of contact, welcoming Grotto visitors and scanning their tickets.
  • You'll need to stay organised and think ahead, as some guests may arrive earlier or later than their scheduled time.
  • With multiple Santas in different areas, it's important to keep the queue moving smoothly to avoid families crossing paths with others who've already had their Santa visit.

Grotto Elf

  • Rain or shine, Grotto Elves work outdoors for most of their shift (don't worry—coats are provided as part of the uniform).
  • Your cheerful energy will help keep the Christmas spirit alive for families waiting in line. You'll need to be comfortable chatting with parents and children to keep the mood festive.
  • Some Elves will assist Santa directly, helping him stay on schedule and ensuring each visit runs smoothly.

Toy Store Elf:

  • After visiting Santa, children head to the Toy Store to choose a special gift—and that's where you come in
  • You'll keep the shelves stocked, tidy, and beautifully presented.
  • Strong communication skills are key as you help guide excited children and their families to their perfect toy.

Breakfast Elf

  • Breakfast with Santa is a magical experience filled with songs, smiles, and delicious food
  • We're looking for confident Elves who can help create a fun and festive atmosphere from start to finish.
  • Whether you're serving food, clearing tables, or joining in with a sing-along, you'll need to be organised, friendly, and ready to spread some Christmas cheer.
