This is a fantastic opportunity to join a thriving business in the constantly busy village of Haworth. Pavé is a continental delicatessen selling fine food and wine, and also a cosy and popular bistro providing both the residents of Haworth, and visitors to the area with an excellent place to eat, drink and relax.

We are looking for someone to join our team immediately as a kitchen assistant (must be aged 16+) for the Christmas Holiday period - could that person be you? Are you looking for some seasonal work? Have you worked in a kitchen before? Are you a catering student who wants to gain hands-on experience of working in a kitchen? Are you a junior chef who wants a chance to progress? If you have experience of working in a kitchen, have kitchen skills, enjoy cooking for others, then this is the role for you.

We are open 7 days a week, and 4 nights, and there is currently availability for a kitchen assistant to join our team on a part time basis. The hours will be around 12-20 hours per week depending on the candidate. The shifts will mainly involve morning work, will include a weekend day and an option to assist on evenings. More hours may be available if staff absence / annual leave is taken. Shifts can be adapted to accommodate the right candidate and to ensure supervision is provided for those with less experience. Remuneration will be dependant upon age and experience.

We have a fun loving and passionate team and we are looking for hardworking, confident individuals with a passion for food that can work in our high pressured kitchen, preparing meals and assisting the chef in running a service.

This position would suit someone who is keen to learn more and enhance their studies with a practical role or someone with experience of working in a kitchen environment. Qualifications in catering are not necessary. Experience is of working in a kitchen is preferred but not essential. Full training will be provided.

Applicants should be friendly, outgoing and be able to work well with others. They will need to be able to take instruction on preparation to assist the chef and assist in all aspects of kitchen work.
