Audit Assistant Manager Opportunity
About the Company
A highly respected accountancy practice is seeking an Assistant Audit Manager to join its dynamic and friendly team. This role offers a unique chance to advance your career while honing your skills in a supportive environment.
About the Role

Responsibilities
- Lead teams on a variety of audit assignments
- Manage statutory audits from planning through to completion
- Ensure audits are completed within the agreed budget
- Act as the principal contact for clients during on-site fieldwork
- Deliver high-quality work within tight deadlines
- Supervise audit teams on site, review their work, and contribute to the development of junior team members
- Manage assurance and risk management projects, liaising with clients and preparing client reports
Qualifications
- ACA/ACCA qualified with at least 1-2 years post-qualified experience
- Significant experience within a UK accountancy practice environment
- Up-to-date knowledge of UK audit and accounting standards
Required Skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
- Proficient in general IT skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Previous experience in managing and nurturing junior team members
Pay range and compensation package
£50,000 - £58,000 plus bens
