Key Accountabilities

  • Be a part of the Cataloguing Team and contribute to team meetings to improve the Vectis service.
  • Support other cataloguers as required with sales.
  • Unpack collections, identify collectables, and sort collections into "lots"
  • Input titles, descriptions and estimates into the Vectis auction system.
  • Work with enthusiasm and at pace.
  • Capability to complete all paperwork and administration.
  • Ability to learn and share expertise of products.
  • Liaise with customers to determine if the collection is suitable for auction.
  • Support customers enquiries and resolve customer issues
  • Attend exhibitions and promote Vectis to the wider community
  • Work with marketing team to ensure consistent messaging across all channels.

Skillsets Requirements:

Essential

  • Good knowledge within a collectables field
  • Computer literate and competent with Microsoft products
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Effective communication skills, including writing, speaking and active listening

Desirable

  • Worked within an ecommerce environment
  • Experience of buying and selling on an online auction platform, such as eBay
