Our highly acclaimed Finance team is growing

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented
Accounts Payable Assistant
with prior experience in accounts payable and a solid understanding of financial processes. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build on their existing finance experience in a supportive and fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing invoices, reconciling supplier statements, assisting with month-end activities, and ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of all payment transactions.

Main tasks

· Process stock and service invoices accurately and efficiently

· Respond to vendor queries in a timely and professional manner

· Set up new vendors in
NetSuite
, ensuring full compliance with company policies

· Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies promptly

· Maintain the accounts payable mailbox and ensure queries are addressed appropriately

· Review and approve employee expense claims in accordance with company guidelines

· Assist with weekly payment runs and handle any related queries

· Ensure all activities are carried out in compliance with relevant financial policies and procedures

· Support the finance team with ad hoc tasks and projects as required

Job Requirements:

· Working towards relevant finance qualification – AAT/CIMA/ACCA or equivalent

· Strong attention to detail and accuracy

· Demonstrated interest in the accounting field, supported by a degree or diploma in finance/accounting or relevant work experience

· Eagerness to learn, grow, and take on new challenges

· Collaborative team player who contributes positively to the overall effectiveness of the finance team

· Takes pride in delivering high-quality and reliable work

· Experience with
NetSuite
is an advantage

· Proficient in
Microsoft Excel
, including key functions and formulas
