The role
As a Junior Office Manager, you'll play a key role in ensuring Graphcore Cambridge office runs smoothly, supporting both our engineering and business teams in a dynamic, collaborative environment. You'll take ownership of daily operations, working alongside the Facilities Manager and cross-functional teams to maintain a safe, efficient, and engaging workplace.

Responsibilities

  • Vendor coordination, space planning, emergency readiness, and the administration of security access systems, including mobile ID setup and auditing. You'll handle health and safety compliance in line with our Integrated Management System (IMS), including oversight of the Cardinus H&S Training Platform and training records for DSE assessments, First Aid responders, and Fire Marshals
  • Responsible for visitor and meeting room platforms (e.g. Envoy, Robin), support document control through Cognidox and SharePoint and handle the Cambridge office's Facilities intranet page to ensure information is accurate and up to date
  • Coordinate wellbeing initiatives that foster a positive office culture, contributing to the Wellbeing and H&S Committees
  • Manage office supplies, equipment, and service contracts
  • Support HR with onboarding new starters and workspace setup
  • Assist with finance administration and reporting
  • Occasionally organise company events, and seasonal activities (e.g. Christmas parties)

What you'll bring

You'll have experience in office or facilities coordination, ideally within a technology or fast-paced business environment. You'll be highly organised, reliable, and committed to delivering excellent service. This role suits someone with a warm, approachable nature and a strong focus on customer service, confident in leading tasks independently.

Desireable Skills

  • Interest in or progress toward IOSH or NEBOSH qualification
