Description
You will be responsible for delivering high-quality client services while managing and mentoring junior team members. The role is equally divided between overseeing client work and team development. The Assistant Manager must ensure the timely and accurate completion of work, adherence to statutory regulations, and a high standard of service delivery. This position requires strong organisational skills, technical expertise, and the ability to lead a team in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional service to a portfolio of clients, meeting or exceeding expectations.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for client queries, maintaining and strengthening client relationships.
  • Oversee the day-to-day management of client portfolios, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and statutory deadlines.
  • Ensure timely and accurate receipt of client documentation to facilitate service delivery.
  • Review work produced by junior team members to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations.
  • Provide constructive feedback to junior team members, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Develop and share expertise with the team to enhance efficiency and performance.
  • Mentor and coach junior staff to support their professional growth and foster a collaborative environment.
  • Identify opportunities for team development and process improvement.
  • Effectively plan and execute work processes to align with client needs and statutory deadlines.
  • Assist senior managers in preparing proposals for new business and participating in client presentations.
  • Communicate challenges, opportunities, and ideas for process improvements to senior management.
  • Adhere to all legal and statutory requirements, staying updated on the latest regulations and industry best practices.
  • Accurately record chargeable time to optimise billable hours and meet financial targets.
  • Represent Xeinadin professionally, upholding its vision and values in all work interactions.

Role Specific:

  • Oversee the preparation of client deliverables, including accounts, tax, PAYE, and VAT, ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Act as a mentor to junior team members, providing guidance on technical issues and client queries.
  • Handle client queries promptly and professionally, ensuring satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Deliver clear advice and insights to clients to meet their needs effectively.
  • Ensure the quality of client files and audits is maintained to the highest standard.

Key Requirements

  • ACCA/ ACA – Fully Qualified
  • 4+ years practice experience preferred
