Health Care Assistant

Job Summary: (42 hour shift available ) Must be a driver to commute with a UK driving licence.
We are currently seeking a dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team in St Ives and Huntingdon(Cambridgeshire) and Cambridge providing compassionate care and support to residents in our care home. The ideal candidate will be assist in implementing care plans, delivering home care services, and ensuring the well-being of our residents.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the implementation of individual care plans for residents
- Provide personal care and support with daily living activities
- Monitor and report any changes in residents' health or behaviour
- Support residents with mobility, including using aids and equipment
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the healthcare team
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of care provided
- Assist in promoting a safe and comfortable environment for residents
- Help with meal preparation and feeding where necessary
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a care home or healthcare setting is desirable
- Ability to follow care plans and work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- A valid driving licence is advantageous for home visits
- Basic IT skills for record keeping and communication purposes
