About The Role:

As a Support Services division, aim to reduce our client's energy consumption, costs, and carbon emissions whilst offering renewable energy solutions tailored to their specific needs. Due to continued success and expansion within our Energy Division, we are currently looking to recruit an experienced and enthusiastic renewable electrical project manager to join our team. The candidate will have experience within energy sector projects such as Solar PV, Battery Storage, EV Charging and hydro.

About the Role:

  • To be responsible for the delivery of Electrical project installations on time and within budget, whilst exceeding customer expectations.
  • To oversee members of staff and sub-contractors on-site, including day to day support, continual training and to effectively resolve any issues that may arise.
  • To play an active part in progress meetings with key stakeholders and customers.
  • To ensure that any Electrical services systems are properly installed and commissioned.
  • Provide front end design & preconstruction management where required
  • To maintain a good, professional working relationship with customers, keeping them updated throughout the duration of the project.
  • Assist in client relationship development
  • The production and implementation of Risk Assessments and manage our delivery in harmony with our Integrated Management systems
  • To ensure that company Health & Safety policies and procedures are adhered to constantly, and enforce this where necessary.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Experience in renewable and energy sector projects such as Solar PV farms, battery storage, EV Charging essential
  • Experience and understanding in managing design and build projects
  • Proven track record of managing a team and successfully delivering electrical project installations with renewable technologies
  • Prepare Contract Documents I.e. Method Statements, Risk Assessments, RFI's, Technical Submissions, etc.
  • Thorough understanding of electrical works and in depth knowledge of the construction process.
  • Prepare handover documents i.e. O&M Manuals and Record Drawings.
  • Embrace and have experience of using off-site fabrication as a key project driver.
  • Health and safety on site management
  • Zero defects attitude
  • Flexibility to travel, working between main office and site based
  • Minimum HND qualified
