An opportunity has arisen to join our Customer Experience Team here at Carnoustie Golf Links This is a permanent position, working 35 hours per week.

As the first point of contact for many of our visiting golfers, season ticket holders and non-golfing visitors, the ideal candidate will posses the following skills and behaviours:

o Ability to work to high customer service standards, in person, over the telephone and over email

o Adherence to rules and regulations, accuracy and attention to detail

o Strong IT skills, accomplished in using Microsoft Office packages and ability to learn new and bespoke systems

o Excellent written and verbal communication

o Ability to work stand-alone, while a positive contributor to the wider team

o Accustomed to working effectively in a fast-paced environment, flexible and can adapt to changing workloads and priorities, where high standards are not compromised under pressure

Key duties of this role include, but are not limited to:

Operational

o Processing of Tour Operator bookings & collection of payments

o Produce regular Tour Operator statements

o Accepting & processing personal golf bookings and payments or refunds

o Processing the Hotel weekly bookings & collection of payments

o Assisting with the sale of Season Tickets

o Processing Season Ticket holder bookings, amendments, cancellations and payments

o Managing Season Ticket holder ballot instructions

o Adherence to all rules and regulations within the organisation

o Assisting the Head of Operations with general administrative duties

o Provide information to Customers Inform customers about services and products offered, local attractions, driving directions, and provide any other type of information the customer wants to know about their trip

o Make reservations Primary task is to book golf rounds and create a full experience. Listen to customers and help accommodate them with services that best fit their needs. Make sure the

requested dates, products, or services are available, and complete the booking with a friendly attitude.

o Handle customer complaints Remaining calm and friendly throughout the process, helping the customer resolve the situation.

o Sale of products and services Offering additional pull through products and services to customers who book through them.

o Assist the Guest Relations Team and Carnoustie Golf Hotel Reservations Team

People

o Liaising with clients, suppliers and other staff

o Assisting marketing team with sales promotions

o First point of contact for enquiries via phone or email

o Any other duties as required
