Premier News Food & Wine are hiring keen and able staff members for our store in Carnoustie. We are looking for dedicated, trustworthy and hardworking staff members. It is compulsory that all applicants have prior or current experience of having worked within a similar environment.

**Duties**:

- Greet and welcome customers as they enter the establishment
- Assist customers in finding their desired products or services
- Provide information and answer questions about products, services, and promotions
- Upsell additional products or services to customers
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor
- Stock shelves and replenish merchandise as needed
- Monitor inventory levels and report any shortages or discrepancies to management
- Collaborate with team members to ensure excellent customer service

**Skills**:

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Bilingual proficiency, particularly in Spanish, is a plus
- Ability to upsell and sell products or services effectively
- Strong organizational skills to maintain a tidy sales floor
- Basic math skills for processing transactions and handling cash
- Multilingual abilities are an advantage
- Phone etiquette for answering customer inquiries or taking orders
- Time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
