Up to £100,000 (depending on experience) + bonus and benefits

At Specsavers, we're searching for a Head of Service Delivery who will be the go-to expert for our value streams ensuring that IT Operations are always aligned, optimised, and responsive to the needs of the organisation.

Imagine leading a team that acts as the main focal point for our value streams, truly understanding their objectives, challenges, and opportunities. You'll be the person who brings together business priorities and IT capabilities, ensuring that every operational service is structured and prioritised to deliver maximum impact. Your influence will be felt across the business, as you represent the voice of the customer back into Operations Leadership and drive the right changes to support growth and innovation.

In this pivotal role, you'll define and implement the vision and strategy for Service Delivery, acting as the primary interface between IT Operations and value streams. You'll oversee service performance management, using data and insights to drive continuous improvement and evidence-based conversations. Your strategic planning skills will ensure that IT Operations is always prepared for what's next whether it's supporting new capabilities, addressing resource requirements, or navigating critical business periods.

You'll thrive if you're a strong, influential leader with gravitas and impact at the senior level. Your background in IT Operations and service delivery, ideally within a value stream aligned organisation, will give you the credibility to shape change and optimise service provision. You'll bring extensive experience with ITIL practices, a collaborative approach to working with third-party partners, and a proven ability to lead teams through change. Your stakeholder management, influencing, and negotiation skills will be second to none, and you'll have a track record of developing high-performing teams and fostering cross-functional collaboration.
