We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Nurse to join our dental practice. As a Dental Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients. The ideal candidate should be a team player, possess excellent communication skills, and have a friendly and professional demeanor. A strong work ethic, passion for patient care, and confidence in dental nursing are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting the dentist during dental procedures, including general dentistry, orthodontics, and oral surgery.
  • Preparing and maintaining dental instruments and equipment for use.
  • Ensuring the cleanliness and hygiene of the dental surgery and treatment areas.
  • Sterilizing instruments and equipment following established protocols.
  • Providing chairside assistance to the dentist during treatments and procedures.
  • Developing dental X-rays.
  • Accurately recording patient information and treatment plans in dental records.
  • Educating patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care.
  • Managing and maintaining dental supplies and inventory.
  • Maintaining strict compliance with infection control protocols and occupational health and safety standards.
  • Scheduling and managing patient appointments effectively.
  • Collaborating with the dental team to deliver exceptional patient care.
  • Demonstrating a caring and compassionate attitude towards patients.
  • Assisting with front desk duties, such as answering phone calls and handling patient inquiries.

Requirements:

  • Minimum qualification as a Dental Nurse or relevant certification.
  • Previous experience as a Dental Nurse is mandatory.
  • Ideally experienced in implant nursing, sedation and orthodontics, but not mandatory
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of dental procedures, instruments, and materials.
  • Proficient in dental radiography and dental software.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Friendly and approachable demeanor with patients and colleagues.
  • Exceptional teamwork and collaboration skills.
  • High level of professionalism and ethics.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively.
  • A positive and proactive attitude towards learning and professional development.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and quality.
  • Reliable, punctual, and dedicated to providing outstanding patient care.
  • Experience in oral surgery and implant dentistry is a plus.
